The saturation was low in the low permeability oilfield so oil producing index declined very fast after the water breakthrough happened and the liquid production index increased comparatively slow, therefore it was hard to achieve the goal of stable yield by raising the liquid production capability for low permeability oilfields. Although the gas displacement efficiency was better than the water displacement efficiency, the residual saturation of gas displacement was lower than that of water displacement and the relative gas-water permeability was low. The crude oil recovery could be promoted by water-gas alternating displacement; however, carbon dioxide and natural gas are better than nitrogen for different air.
